Florence Nago is a qualified teacher, and lawyer . She worked in close proximity with children as a secondary school teacher for 8 years before she decided to join the legal profession ,where she continued to work with vulnerable children in the victim friendly court. She also chaired the Pre Trial Diversion committee which acts in the best interest of all minors in the Criminal Court at Provincial level. Florence acquired her Law Degree from Midlands State University (Zimbabwe) and is currently studying towards A Master of Laws Degree with Midlands State University majoring in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. Currently she is employed by the Judicial Service Commission (Zimbabwe) as a Provincial Magistrate.
Florence has a passion for Human Rights particularly Child Rights. As a teacher she worked in the remote areas of Zimbabwe where she encountered children from poor backgrounds some of whom where victims to cultural and religious beliefs which saw them engaging in early marriages. It is against this background that she developed the need to work together with under privileged girls to try and improve their lives. She has been with Kudakwamwari foundation from its birth and there she has been afforded to further her interests in working with vulnerable children.
Florence is a result-oriented person, with an ability to think creatively and strategically, and she possess strong leadership skills.
